You can see the clear, open sky, and you know it's a spaceport because of the dark marks on the pedestal. You hear a strange, mangled voice-like noise, and turn around. There stands a humanoid alien, tilting their head like a curious puppy. They point at you, then at a pile of gears. The alien seems to need help assembling the device. Maybe if you [[help alien]], the alien might be able to help you work the spaceport. You hear a loud thunk as you hurtle through space. Something large and green approaches fast; the lights go out and everything goes dark. You've passed out somewhere in between. You slowly come to your senses and hear wind pushing through leaves. Something is beeping very loudly. You [[open your eyes]].You bring your light closer to the strange machine. You gently nudge it to see if it's dangerous, but nothing seems to happen. You pick up the thing and flick a few random switches. Each time you hit one switch or button, it turns into a differently shaped piece of metal. The edges of the metal have an unearthly shimmer, as if it hasn't finished being created. You accidentally brush the metal against a bush, and the metal merges with the plant. A few forceful tugs does nothing more than rip branches off the plant. When you press another button, the leaves fall and the metal regains it's unfinished quality. If you strategically use this device, you might be able to [[repair the ship]].> [[Start]] > [[Credits]]The cave is dark and gloomy, so you turn on the flashlight. Casting the light on a wall, you see a painted set of symbols. They aren't a recognizable language. There's a little piece of metal sitting in the corner with a bunch of switches and buttons. You don't know whether to examine the [[alien machine]] or the [[cave painting]]. You can also go to the [[forestry]] or the [[set of fallen pillars]] .Looking closer at the painting, you see a large humanoid-like figure surrounded by smaller figures. There are some scratches above the figures, but they are too faded to decipher. Underneath the figures are symbols that look vaguely like recognizable characters. Maybe there's something to be deciphered here. You start attempting to [[solve the puzzle]].Thanks for playing my game! Unfortunately, you died. Press restart to replay, of course. The face of the marble bust has been weathered down, but you can identify its nose and eyes. There's odd scratches on the base of the bust, looking vaguely like recognizable characters. Maybe there's something to be deciphered here. You start attempting to [[solve the puzzle]].You follow the animal footprints despite them looking very big and sharp. The footprints go into a cave and you follow them. It's dark and you can't see. Something big rustles in the darkness. A branch snaps under your foot. The creature roars and thunders towards you. Something sharp clamps around your neck and you pass out from the pain. You've been [[eaten]].The forest around you looks typical, leafy green trees and brush and grass, but you can't hear the sounds of any birds. It's eerie. There are some red berries on a bush, and a large paw-like footprint in the dirt. You look around and spot a large, smooth section of rock with squares etched into it. You walk closer. The squares are tiles have letters on them and are set into an indent in the rock. Off to the side is an odd circle with a gap inside of it. The letters are all scrambled up, but you might be able to [[move the tiles around]].The forest around you looks typical, leafy green trees and brush and grass, but you can't hear the sounds of any birds. It's eerie, and you might retreat back to the [[cave]]. There are some red berries on a bush, and a large paw-like footprint in the dirt. Your curiosity tells you to [[follow the animal tracks]], but you could also [[gather resources]] from around you.Gathering resources from the surrounding forest would help you last as long as you could if you couldn't fix the ship. You collect various types of berries off bushes and fruit off trees. You make a mental note to find out if they're poisonous or not. You move aside some bushes, which reveals an oddly shaped glowing peice of stone. You pick it up and inspect it. It seems to be deliberately crafted, with a pattern of lines that were probably engraved into it. You look around to see where it might've come from, and spot a large, smooth section of rock with squares etched into it. You [[walk closer]].You push chunks of rock off of the glowing object. You might be able to use this to [[repair the ship]].Congratulations!! Thank you so much for playing my game :) Play my other games [[here->https://linktr.ee/sunny.v]]You find a slab of dark rock and grab a sharp, lighter one to use as chalk. "Wdl rpc X wtae ndj?" you write. The alien responds by grabbing their own dark rock and chalk. They draw a diagram of the object they need to be made with the parts. You sit down in front of the pile and get to work. After a few hours of work, you produce a little piece of metal sitting in the corner with a bunch of switches and buttons. The alien takes the objects and presses some buttons and flicks some switches. Each time they hit one switch or button, it turns into a differently shaped piece of metal. The edges of the metal have an unearthly shimmer, as if it hasn't finished being created. The alien jumps up and down excitedly and presses another button. The device splits in two and the alien gives you one of the sides. "You can [[repair the ship]]," the alien writes in their language. You're lying in the wreckage of your spaceship, and the air pressure lock has broken, causing the beeping. Your spacesuit is intact, so you keep it on in case you can't breath the air here. The spaceship and suit are both sleek and minimalistic, so there's not much to examine. You take apart the wreckage and pocket a flashlight that seems to be working. Other than that, there's not much else. You take a look at your surroundings -- an Earth-like forest, but you can't see any wildlife. To your east is more [[forestry]], to the west a [[cave]], and to the north is a [[set of fallen pillars]].You use the device to create a large platform to bring your spaceship to the spaceport. The main problem is the wing of the ship, which has been torn off, probably by a stray piece of space debris. You press some young, green branches into a frame, then press buttons to split the device into smaller pieces. It takes quite some time to merge the frame and the wing and the devices together, but eventually you get your wing back, good as new. You get back into your ship and reset the air lock. You make sure everything is sealed and everything is set for takeoff. You spot your new alien friend out the window and smile. They wave at you, and you wave back. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and you're on your way [[back home]].The site looks like the ruins of an ancient civilization, complete with crumbling columns and vines creeping over large slabs of marble. There's a marble bust with the face turned away from you. Theres also something glowing from under a pile of rocks. Maybe you could [[examine marble bust]] and try to learn more about alien society here. Or, you could try to get to the [[glowing thing]] and maybe use it for your spaceship. You can always go back to the [[cave]], too.The marble inscription reads "iwt vds du apcvjpvt rgtpith iwt paewpqti pqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmno". Instantly you notice the line of charcters at the end; some of it is in the same order as your own alphabet. The "a" is 15 characters into the alien word. This number is your key to deciphering the alien language. You head back to the [[forest]].You walk closer to the wall of rock with the squares etched into it. The squares are tiles have letters on them and are set into an indent in the rock. The letters are all scrambled up, but you might be able to move the tiles around. Off to the side is an odd circle with a gap inside of it. You shine your flashlight into the gap and the light reflects off ridges that have the same depth as the glowing stone you hold. You think it might fit in, so you stick the stone inside the gap. You wiggle it around until you hear a click. Then there's a great rumble, and the rock slides apart to reveal what looks like a [[spaceport]].The tiles on the rock have the letters c, d, a, r, z, and j. You know that the letters in your language are 15 letters away, so you translate each letter in your head: n, o, l, c, k, and u. All those days of playing puzzle games paid off -- you can tell that these letters spell out the word unlock. You try to shuffle the tiles around but they're very stiff, as if they haven't been touched in centuries. After you nearly break your hand, the tiles budge and create a grating sound as the move. Eventually you manuever the tiles to spell "jcadrz". Then there's a great rumble, and the rock slides apart to reveal what looks like a [[spaceport]].
